Recovery starts from Today when a return may help
After at least three consecutive scheduled days are missed, Today can show a dedicated Recovery prompt. It is an offer to choose a next step, not a penalty or an automatic rewrite of your habit. You can also open Recovery when you are ready to look at a missed habit.
If more than one habit has been interrupted, choose which one to focus on first. The prompt uses local missed-day facts to decide when to appear.
Pick a return that fits today's energy
Choose a Tiny Version, a Bounce-back Step, or where you want to start. LilCoach opens the habit for today with that step so you can decide whether it feels doable. Quick Reset also opens the habit on a tiny or fallback step.
These are choices for today. A smaller step can help you restart without requiring you to make up every missed repetition.
You can skip or bring back a missed day
Skip Without Guilt marks today's habit as skipped. Bring Back to Today moves the most recent missed occurrence to today without changing the past record. Choose the action that matches what you actually want to do.
LilCoach does not silently raise your target or move every missed day into today's plan. You confirm the recovery action yourself.
Change the habit only if you choose to
For Plus members, Improve Habit Design opens a guided review. You choose what to adjust; Recovery does not change the habit settings for you. Or leave the plan as it is and try a small step first.

Not ready? Remind me later or choose Not Today
Remind Me Later defers this prompt by about four hours. Not Today hides it for the rest of the day. The missed history stays available either way, so a pause does not erase the habit or its progress.
