FAQ

Which browsers are supported?

Browse shows installed applications that macOS reports as capable of opening web links, including browsers such as Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox.

Does Browse bypass macOS security?

No. Browse uses the public macOS default-application API. macOS displays its own confirmation when the default browser changes.

Is my data collected or shared?

No. Browse stores only local preferences such as display mode, monochrome icon, and launch-at-login state.

When can I download Browse?

A public download will appear after the macOS build can be signed and notarized for a smooth Gatekeeper experience.
